About this PDF to Word converter
A practical, private way to reuse the text locked inside PDFs
The FreeConvertors PDF to Word converter extracts the text content from a PDF and lets you download it as a Word-compatible .doc document. This is useful when you have a PDF you want to edit, quote from, translate, or reuse in a report, resume or assignment but do not want to retype the content.
The extraction uses PDF.js and runs entirely in the browser. Your PDF is never uploaded, so it is safe for contracts, notes, research documents and other private files. After extraction you get a preview you can read, copy, or download as a Word file.
How to convert PDF to Word
Upload a PDF and every page is read for text. Review the extracted text in the preview panel, then choose Download Word (.doc) to save an editable document, or Copy Extracted Text to paste the content anywhere. Pages are marked clearly so you can keep track of the structure.
Important limitations
Text extraction works best on digital PDFs. Scanned documents, which are actually images of pages, need OCR (optical character recognition) which is not included here. Complex layouts with columns, headers, footers and images may not carry over perfectly — for legally important or highly formatted documents, check the result before relying on it.
